Ty Blanch is recognised as the leading commercial property sales and leasing professional on the Central Coast and is the owner and Licensee in Charge of LJ Hooker Commercial Central Coast, with offices in Tuggerah (in the North) and Gosford (in the South). He has been working as a real estate agent for over 28 years on the Coast.

The team of 21 staff at LJ Hooker Commercial Central Coast services the region between Sydney and Newcastle and extends into the Newcastle and Hunter Regions offering clients expert advice and unparalleled service with sales, leasing and asset management within the industrial, office and retail sectors.

Recently Ty was recognised at the National Awards (2018) as the Top Commercial Salesperson within the LJ Hooker Commercial Network, and his experience and ability to build quality life-long relationships has allowed him to create substantial market share within his territory (often exceeding 90% market share), and develop a significant and long lasting impact within the commercial property industry on the Central Coast.

Ty Blanch commenced his Real Estate career in 1993, joining a boutique Gosford based agency specialising in aged care residential, rural and land property sales.

After working with this agency for four years and completing his Advanced Certificate in Property Agency, Ty joined the Amadeus Group of Companies as Licensee in Charge and started the sales division of Amadeus Realty Pty Ltd at Terrigal on the NSW Central Coast where he remained for a further five years.

In 2001, Ty joined the team at L.J. Hooker Commercial – Central Coast and was appointed Area Specialist for Wyong Shire and the Morisset area in Lake Macquarie City, specialising in Commercial, Industrial and Retail property sales and leasing.

In 2003, Ty was given the Award for Excellence in Specialist Marketing (2002 – 2003). Since then, Ty has received many awards the most notable being two national achievement awards for Top Specialist Salesperson Commercial (Number of Properties Sold), Top Specialist Salesperson Commercial (Income Earned) for 2004 / 2005 and Top Commercial Salesperson Nationally (2018) within the L.J. Hooker Commercial Group.

Ty has qualified as a Platinum Life Member of the Captains Club which recognises the ‘Best of the Best’ (Top 1% of sales people) in their international network of over 730 offices. Ty has also been awarded GOLD MEDAL STATUS – recognizing one of the highest performance levels in the company, and has been awarded SILVER MEDAL STATUS on four occasions, and twice received BRONZE MEDAL STATUS.

EDUCATION

Ty completed the Advanced Certificate in Property Agency at Gosford TAFE in 1996 with Distinction. Since then Ty has completed a Bachelor of Business (Property Economics) degree at the University of Western Sydney and has been offered to do honours. In 2010 Ty completed his Diploma in Management. Ty has been inaugurated into the Golden Key International Honour Society recognising excellence in Academic Achievement for the top 15% of University Students enrolled in Graduate Courses worldwide. He is a licensed Real Estate Agent and property developer in his own right.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENTS

Ty was a presenter for the Commercial Property Segment on the 2GO Real Estate Show on a regular basis for over 15 years, and now presents a commercial segment on Radio with Lachlan McDonald (COAST FM 96.3 – Classic Hits). In addition Ty is a regular contributor for the Central Coast Business Review Magazine. Ty has also written several specific articles for SOLD magazine (with a national readership) and the local SALT Magazine.

Ty and his wife Yufei have two children, Charles and Dalton. He loves to surf and is a music lover, playing piano and singing as well as writing music, lyrics, poetry and books. Ty enjoys travelling, diving, snow skiing, bushwalking, gardening and relaxing at his property. He holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt (2nd Dan) in the martial arts and is a Nationally Accredited Teacher.
